In 2019, Flexoplas reached a pinnacle in plastic manufacturing quality. We’ve been honing our techniques and processes over the past thirty years, and our teams have helped enormously at every junction.
We’ve been pretty agile along the way — enduring and navigating the many twists and turns any business faces has taken us to new heights and a level of peer and public recognition we are gratified to receive.
We think the part of the reason we have managed to compete and cope with such a demanding industry is due to our consistent and inherent focus on health and safety.
Company health and safety legislation is in a realm of its own. At Flexoplas Packaging we embrace it because, without a comprehensive health and safety mandate to work towards, our business wouldn’t exist.
We are proud of how our plastic packaging comes off the Flexoplas production line after having met all stringent food safety regulations set out by the USFDA and EU. This is an important prerequisite to our manufacturing processes because we like to assure our clients in full transparency that our packaging is at certifiable food grade standard.
We are also proud to say that way back in 1997 we received AS/NZSISO9001 Quality Telarc registration. This quality control has governed all our work practices over the years, and we continue to improve and enhance these on a regular basis.
Flexoplas Packaging Ltd operate under a documented health and safety protocol set out under the Health and Safety at Work (2015) Act and the Health and Safety at Work (2016) Regulations. Our teams work under this governing umbrella with the aim of working towards a risk-free working environment.
We have a systemised action plan that requires documented injury reporting, quality control, hazard identification, staff training, plant and product safety as part of our professional health and safety management. We also work closely with WorkSafe NZ, the Crown agency whose focus is on helping businesses implement health and safety standards at work.
Flexoplas Packaging Ltd is committed to continual improvement and has an intensive programme of quality control in all facets of its operations. We gained AS/NZSISO9001 certification in 1997 and continue to use and improve on this system to the current date.
A further enhancement of this programme is being undertaken to ensure our systems and operations comply with all food safety regulations.
