Degradable EPI TDPA
EPI is a leader of oxo-biodegradable plastic additive technology. They strive to promote the use of our Totally Degradable Plastic Additives (“TDPA™”) technology as an environmentally friendly and practical solution. EPI continuously conduct research and development on the TDPA™ plastic additive technology to enhance its performance and applicability in order to meet the world’s demand for degradable plastic products, and they are committed to exceed our customers’ expectations through the provision of superior technical and sales support and the supply of the highest quality TDPA™ plastic additives. Degradable plastics are designed to undergo significant changes in chemical structure under specific environmental conditions, resulting in a loss of product integrity. Molecules are oxidized and break down into smaller molecules, and then the plastic disintegrates. Biodegradation occurs as a result of the action of naturally occurring microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae as they consume the smaller plastic fragments.
BIO-FLEX Degradable Stock Products
We now have in stock a full range of both Printed and Plain Large, Medium and Small Singlet Bags in Degradable BIO-FLEX material. The printed range features a simple but eye catching design. We are looking to increase this range to include Rubbish Liners, Produce Bags, Carton Liners and other high volume stock lines once demand is commercially viable. BIO-FLEX Degradable Custom Products
With the increase demand for Degradable products, Flexoplas Packaging are licenced to supply products with EPI TDPA additive into the Australasian market. We have been supplying several totally NEW ZEALAND MADE quality products which include Rubbish Bags, Bin Liners, Kitchen Tidy Liners, Produce Bags and Bundlewrap Films. Laboratory testing on these products indicate these have a standard shelf life of 12-18 months and a 18-24 month life span when in disposed of correctly in an approved landfill, please contact our sales office with any questions you may have.
